Hydrometering from anywhere and anytime

The Hippo remote hydrometer can read hydrometers Sensus 420 and Sensus 620. It calculates average water consumption and guesses the current water costs.

You can discover water leakage in time

When the allowed consumption threshold is exceeded, you will be alerted by mobile notification, SMS or e-mail.

Easy installation

The device is mounted on the external part of the hydrometer with screws and dowels. You don’t need to interfere with the hydrometer itself.

Long life

The AAA battery powering the sensor can last up to 3 years, depending on the number of sent messages. ZOOCO app will alert you about low battery in time.

Activity check in the app

Hippo sends the data several times a day to the ZOOCO app, where you can display them all in structured graphs. You can check the hydrometer status from anywhere and at any time.

Doesn’t require an internet connection

The device works on NB-IoT/Sigfox network, which covers 99% of the area with an outdoor signal. Thus, you don’t need wi-fi nor SIM card.

The sensor activation can not be simpler

  • You can add the device into your ZOOCO app account by QR code or by copying the activation code found in the packaging.
  • In the app, you’ll easily configure the phone number or e-mail to send notifications of the sensor.
  • You can mount the device with screws or cable ties onto the hydrometer and fasten its reader straight on the hydrometer.
  • Within an hour after activation, you can check the data in the ZOOCO app.
