The Magpie magnetic guard can guard garage doors, cottage doors or windows etc. You’ll be informed about unwanted guests, even if the go through your window.

Easy installation

Magpie is divided into two parts, the device and a magnet. You can mount one of them eg. on garage doors, the other one onto the doorframe. When the two parts are separated from one another, the LED diode will flash briefly. Thus you can easily check the functionality of the device.

Regular reports within the application

Once per day, Magpie will send a report about being alive (a so-called "heartbeat"). You can check the object status from anywhere and at anytime.

Battery can last over 3 years

The AAAA battery powering the device can last up to 3 years, depending on the number of messages into the app. The ZOOCO app will alert you about low battery in time.

Notification upon opening or proper closing

As soon as the window or door is open or closed, you can get push notification, SMS or e-mail, informing about the intruder. You can also share the device info with someone else, so he could step in instead of you.

Doesn’t require an internet connection

The device works on Sigfox network, covering 95% of Czech Republic. Thus, you don’t need wi-fi nor SIM card.

The sensor activation can not be simpler

  • You can add the device into your ZOOCO app account by QR code or by copying the activation code found in the packaging.
  • In the app, you’ll easily configure the phone number or e-mail to send notifications of the sensor.
  • Simply place the Magpie on the door or window you want to guard. You can check the device funcctionality by putting the device parts at least 2 cm far from one another.
  • If you are alerted by the ZOOCO app at that moment, you have configured the device correctly.
